Text

For the purpose of this chapter:

1.“Baby chicks” shall mean all domestic fowls six weeks of age or under.
2.“Person” shall include an individual, partnership, a corporation, company, firm, society, association, community sales, public sale pavilions, or other holders of public auctions any placeinthestate,operatinginthestate,buttheterm“person”shallnotbeconstruedtoinclude any person who hatches for sale one thousand chicks per year or less; and the act, omission, or conduct of any officer, agent or other person acting in a representative capacity may be imputed to the organization or person represented, and the person acting in such capacity shall also be liable for violation of this chapter.
