The department may accept contributions, including gifts and grants, in order to carry out
andadministertheprovisionsofthischapterandchapter460, subchapterIII.Thedepartment
shall maintain an itemized accounting of the contributions. At the end of each fiscal year, the
department shall prepare a list recognizing private contributors.
