1.This chapter may be cited and referred to as the “Orthotics, Prosthetics, and Pedorthics
Practice Act”.
2.The purpose of this chapter is to provide for the regulation of persons offering orthotic,
prosthetic, and pedorthic services to the public in order to safeguard the public health, safety,
and welfare.
