Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to interfere with the authority or responsibilities
of an agent operating under a valid durable power of attorney for health care pursuant to
3 CAREGIVER ADVISE, RECORD, ENABLE (CARE) ACT, §144F.7
chapter 144B or of the powers and duties granted to a guardian pursuant to section 232D.401,
232D.402, or 633.635.
