Text

(a)A trustee of an express trust, without court authorization, shall be authorized to exercise:
(1)Powers conferred by the trust instrument; and (2) Except as limited by the trust instrument:
(A)All powers over the trust property that an unmarried competent owner has over individually owned property;
(B)Any other powers appropriate to achieve the proper investment, management, and distribution of the trust property; and (C) Any other powers conferred by this chapter.
(b)Without limiting the authority conferred by subsection (a) of this Code section, a trustee of an express trust, without court authorization, shall be authorized:
(1)To sell, exchange, grant options upon, partition, or otherwise dispose of any property or interest therein which the fiduciary may hold from time to time,
