The Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Interstate Compact is enacted into law and entered into by the State of Georgia with any and all other states legally joining therein in the form substantially as follows: "AUDIOLOGY AND SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY INTERSTATE COMPACT SECTION 1. PURPOSE (a) The purpose of this Compact is to facilitate interstate practice of audiology and speech-language pathology with the goal of improving public access to audiology and speech-language pathology services. The practice of audiology and speech-language pathology occurs in the state where the patient/client/student is located at the time of the patient/client/student encounter.
