Text
(a)A person applying for licensure shall demonstrate his or her eligibility in accordance with the requirements of Code Section 43-28-9 and shall make application for examination upon a form and in such a manner as the board shall prescribe. Such application shall be accompanied by the fee prescribed by the board.
(b)Each applicant for licensure under this article shall pass a nationally recognized examination for occupational therapists or an examination for occupational therapy assistants which has been approved by the board.
(c)Applicants who fail the examination may retake the examination; provided, however, that prior to the issuance of a license, the board may require reexamination applicants to demonstrate competency in a manner deemed appropriate by the board if:
