The Interstate Compact for the Placement of Children is enacted into law and entered into with all other jurisdictions legally joining therein in the form substantially as follows: ARTICLE I. PURPOSE. The purpose of this Interstate Compact for the Placement of Children is to:

(a)Provide a process through which children subject to this compact are placed in safe and suitable homes in a timely manner.
(b)Facilitate ongoing supervision of a placement, the delivery of services, and communication between the states.
(c)Provide operating procedures that will ensure that children are placed in safe and suitable homes in a timely manner.
(d)Provide for the promulgation and enforcement of administrative rules implementing the provisions of this compact and regulating the covered activities of t
