§ 25-10-8 — Penalty for violations of chapter

(a)Any person, firm, corporation, association, or partnership that violates Code Section 25-10-3.2 shall be guilty of a felony and shall be punished by imprisonment for not less than two nor more than ten years, or by a fine of not more than $10,000.00, or both.
(b)Any person, firm, corporation, association, or partnership that violates subsection (a) of Code Section 25-10-2 shall be guilty of a felony and shall be punished pursuant to Code Section 16-7-23 and shall also be subject to a monetary penalty of not more than $10,000.00.
(c)Any person, firm, corporation, association, or partnership that violates any other provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be subject to monetary penalties as provided for in Code Section 25-10-9 .
