Text
(a)Within 60 days after a petition has been received by the commission, it shall hold a referendum on the issue. The commission shall give due notice of the holding of the referendum, shall supervise such referendum, and shall issue appropriate regulations governing the conduct thereof. The question shall be submitted by ballots, upon which the words: "[ ] YES Shall the existence of the (name of [ ] NO district) be terminated?" shall appear, with directions that all persons desiring to vote for termination of the district shall vote "Yes" and all persons desiring to vote against termination of the district shall vote "No." (b) All owners of lands lying within the boundaries of the district, and only such landowners, shall be eligible to vote in the referendum.
