Text
(a)A judgment or lien that survives the death of a party and is enforceable against the estate of the deceased party under subsection (d) of Code Section 19-6-1 , Code Section 19-6-7 , or any other provision of this article shall operate as a judgment or other lien created during the lifetime of the deceased party under paragraph (6) of Code Section 53-7-40 and such claim against the estate of the deceased party shall be paid accordingly by the personal representative of the estate as provided in Article 4 of Chapter 7 of Title 53. The personal representative may address such claim in any manner provided by this article or by Code Section 53-7-44 or 53-7-45 .
(b)Nothing in subsection (a) of this Code section shall alter or impair the rights of any person under this article as such rights
