The preparation of soil survey reports and maps for such areas surveyed shall be a joint responsibility of state and federal workers, although publication shall be by the United States Department of Agriculture, especially for the purpose of full conformity with the many reports of this same type that are regularly being published for other states where survey work of this type is making notable advances.
