Text

No person other than a licensed optician may engage in the practice of opticianry, except that a licensed optician may delegate to nonlicensed supportive personnel those duties, tasks, and functions which fall within the purview of s. 484.002(3). All such delegated acts shall be performed under the direct supervision of a licensed optician, who shall be responsible for all such acts performed by persons under her or his supervision.
