Text
(1)An applicant applying for licensure as an electrologist shall apply to the department on forms furnished by the department. The department shall license each applicant who the board certifies meets all of the following criteria:
(a)Has completed the application form and remitted the application for licensure fee prescribed in s. 478.55.
(b)Has submitted to background screening in accordance with s. 456.0135.
(c)Is at least 18 years old.
(d)Is of good moral character.
(e)Possesses a high school diploma or a high school equivalency diploma.
(f)Has not committed an act in any jurisdiction which would constitute grounds for disciplining an electrologist in this state.
(g)Has successfully completed the academic requirements of an electrolysis training program, not to exceed 120 hours
