Benefits paid to employees of a public employer, as defined in s. 443.036, based on service described in s. 443.1216(2) shall be financed in accordance with this section.

(1)PAYMENT OF REIMBURSEMENTS. —
(a)Unless an election is made under subsection (2), each public employer shall reimburse the Unemployment Compensation Trust Fund the amount of regular benefits, short-time compensation benefits, and extended benefits paid to individuals based on wages paid by the public employer for service described in s. 443.1216(2).
(b)If a state agency is more than 120 days delinquent on reimbursements due to the Unemployment Compensation Trust Fund, the tax collection service provider shall certify to the Chief Financial Officer the amount due and the Chief Financial Officer shall transfer the amo
