Text

(1)An unemployed individual is eligible to receive benefits for any week only if the Department of Commerce finds that:
(a)She or he has made a claim for benefits for that week in accordance with the rules adopted by the department.
(b)She or he has completed the department’s online work registration and subsequently reports to the one-stop career center as directed by the local workforce development board for reemployment services. This requirement does not apply to persons who are: 1. Non-Florida residents; 2. On a temporary layoff; 3. Union members who customarily obtain employment through a union hiring hall; 4. Claiming benefits under an approved short-time compensation plan as provided in s. 443.1116; or 5. Unable to complete the online work registration due to illiteracy, physica
