Text

The application for any license for recreational activities issued under this part must include a check-off provision that permits the applicant for licensure to make a voluntary contribution of $2. The commission may retain up to 90 cents from each contribution to cover administrative costs. The remainder shall be distributed quarterly by the commission to Southeastern Guide Dogs, Inc., located in Palmetto. Southeastern Guide Dogs, Inc., shall use the contributions to breed, raise, and train guide dogs for the blind, specifically for the “Paws for Patriots” program, including in-residence training for veterans who are provided guide dogs by Southeastern Guide Dogs, Inc.
