Text
Any county or incorporated city or town in the state may contract to have carried on all or any part of the work mentioned in s. 342.03, provided such contract shall be let in the manner prescribed by law for other work of a public nature. No such contractor shall use any poisonous substance, chemical or spray in any of the waterways mentioned in s. 342.03 without first entering into a good and sufficient bond to be fixed and approved by the county or municipal authorities conditioned to indemnify any and all persons against any loss or damage for injury to livestock resulting from the use of such poisonous substance, chemical or spray.
