Text

The Department of Management Services is hereby authorized and directed to acquire both land and buildings now needed or to be needed for use, in whole or in part, by state government or any agency, board, bureau, or commission thereof. However, no building can be constructed or land acquired under this section without specific legislative approval. The acquisition of the land, buildings, and facilities may be financed by grants, by direct appropriations, or by the issuance of revenue bonds or certificates pledging the revenues and rentals derived from the use of the buildings and facilities. The Department of Management Services is expressly authorized to issue revenue certificates to carry out the purposes of this section.
