Text

Whenever any form of bid of the state or any county or municipality thereof or any department or agency of the state, county or municipality or any other public body or institution shall specify that a good faith deposit shall be made by way of a certified check accompanying such bid, such requirement shall be satisfied by the bidder depositing in lieu of such certified check a cashier’s check, treasurer’s check or bank draft of any national or state bank.
