Text
The commission shall adopt rules to ensure the protection of students, including rules establishing fair consumer practices pursuant to s. 1005.04.
(1)The commission may not grant or renew a license unless the institution seeking the action provides the commission with a sworn statement of compliance with rules regarding fair consumer practices.
(2)The commission may examine any complaint against an institution under its jurisdiction and, if the institution is found to be routinely handling these matters correctly, the complaint shall be considered closed. Complaints under this subsection against accredited institutions, if not resolved, shall be forwarded to the accrediting agency for any appropriate action.
