§ 7007 — County Advisory Retirement Board

Delaware·Title 9·Part Sussex County·Ch. 70 COUNTY GOVERNMENT AND COUNTY ADMINISTRATORS

There shall be an Advisory Retirement Board for the County which shall consist of 5 members. Three of the members shall be appointed by the county government for terms of 4 years and 2 of the members shall be elected by the members of the county employees pension plan for terms of 4 years. The members of the Board shall receive such compensation as fixed by the County Council of Sussex County. The Advisory Retirement Board shall:

(1)Review each application for benefits under the retirement system and render an opinion thereon to the Director of Finance as to whether the applicant is qualified for the benefits sought in the application;
(2)From time to time, make such recommendations to the county government regarding proposed changes in the retirement system and the administration of
