(a)All moneys which belong to the State shall be deposited on day of receipt to the credit of the State Treasurer in the designated depository of the State’s funds, with the exception of moneys received after the close of normal banking hours or when an agency receives less than $100 in receipts daily. Those agencies receiving less than $100 in daily receipts shall safely secure such funds and make a deposit when accumulated undeposited receipts exceed $100, or on a weekly basis, whichever occurs first. When moneys are received after the close of normal banking hours, those moneys shall normally be safely secured and deposited on the next business day, except when receipts are of sufficient magnitude to warrant their being deposited after normal banking hours.
