(a)Unless otherwise specified, notice required by this chapter may be served personally upon a tenant of a manufactured home community by leaving a copy of the notice at the tenant’s dwelling place with an adult person who resides therein. Notice required under subchapters I through V of this chapter may be served personally upon a landlord or upon any other person in the employ of the landlord whose responsibility is to accept such service. If a landlord is a corporation, firm, unincorporated association, or other artificial entity, service of the notice may be made by leaving a copy of the notice at its office or place of business with an agent authorized to accept such notice or authorized by law to receive service of process.
