§ 7009 — Term of rental agreement; renewal of rental agreement [For application of this section, see 79 Del. Laws, c. 304, § 7]

(a)The duration of a rental agreement for a lot in a manufactured home community is 1 year unless a shorter or longer duration is mutually agreed upon by the parties and is designated in writing within the rental agreement.
(b)The rental agreement automatically renews unless the following occurs:
(1)The tenant notifies the landlord in writing, a minimum of 60 days prior to the expiration of the rental agreement, that the tenant is moving the manufactured home off of the lot, or a shorter or longer period of time as is mutually agreed upon by the parties. Notice under this section does not apply to a tenant who intends to sell the manufactured home, and no requirements may be added beyond those procedures for the transfer of a home under § 7013 of this title.
