§ 2359 — Termination, modification or rescission of permanent guardianship order

Delaware·Title 13·Ch. 23 GUARDIANSHIP OF A CHILD·Subch. Permanent Guardianships for Children
(a)Termination. —Except as otherwise specified in this chapter, permanent guardianship of a child terminates upon at least 1 of the following conditions:
(1)The permanent guardian’s death.
(2)Adoption of the child.
(3)The child reaches the age of majority.
(4)The Court otherwise orders termination of the permanent guardianship.
(b)Modification. —Except as otherwise specified in this chapter, an order of permanent guardianship may be modified regarding contact, visitation or sharing of information only upon finding both of the following:
(1)There has been a substantial change in material circumstances.
(2)Modification is in the best interests of the child.
(c)Rescission. —
