Text
(a)A hospital that knowingly fails to provide information or adhere to standards, procedures, and deadlines under this subchapter, or a rule or regulation promulgated under this subchapter, may be assessed a civil penalty of up to $500,000.
(b)[Repealed.]
(c)An order under subsection (a) of this section may be issued only after a hospital has received notice and an opportunity to be heard by the Board.
