§ 10005 — Enhanced 911 Emergency Reporting System Service Board

(a)There is hereby established an Enhanced 911 Emergency Reporting System Service Board.
(b)The Board shall act in an advisory capacity to the Governor, the Secretary and the General Assembly on all matters related to the E-911 system, service and funding thereof.
(c)(1) The Board is comprised as follows: a. Five members, appointed by the Governor with the consent of a majority of all the members elected to the Senate. b. The Chief Information Officer of the Department of Technology and Information, or a designee of the Chief Information Officer. c. The Secretary, or a designee of the Secretary.
(2)The Secretary, or a designee of the Secretary, serves as Chair of the Board.
(3)At least 3 members appointed under paragraph (c)(1)a. of this section must have technical or financial
