§ 50-2451 — Vehicle infraction points.
District of Columbia·Title 50 Motor and Non-Motor Vehicles and Traffic.·Ch. 24A Parking Enforcement Modernization.·Subch. III Vehicle Immobilization and Impoundment.
(1)The Mayor shall establish a vehicle infraction point system for the purpose of determining a vehicle's eligibility for immobilization and impoundment.
(2)In addition to the infractions and offenses listed in subsection (b) and (c) of this section, the Mayor may enumerate new or additional categories of vehicle infractions and offenses and assign a corresponding point value based on the severity of the offense.
(3)Vehicle infraction points imposed under this subsection shall be assessed in addition to any fines or points imposed against the driving record of an individual under 18 DCMR § 303.
(b)Vehicle infraction points for convictions, sustained notices of infractions, including infractions detected by the automated traffic enforcement system described in § 50-2209.01 , or
