Text

(a)For each fiscal year in which funding is available, the Department of Housing shall administer a program to provide grants to nonprofit organizations that own and operate facilities that are used to house or provide services to homeless individuals, including, but not limited to, shelters, day shelters, homeless hubs and other facilities, to make capital improvements. Such capital improvements may include, but need not be limited to, renovations, rehabilitations, architectural and engineering costs and any other related costs, but shall not include acquisitions, demolitions, purchases of land or buildings or capital improvements to permanent supportive housing.
(b)Not later than October 1, 2024, the department shall develop eligibility criteria to be used in selecting among applicants
