§ 8-240n — Annual report.

On or before the second Wednesday after the convening of each regular session of the General Assembly, beginning with the 1995 regular session, the entity created pursuant to subsection (b) of section 8-240k shall submit a report in an electronic form to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to commerce which sets forth for the year ending the preceding December thirty-first, (1) plans to address the goals of the entity established in subsection (b) of section 8-240k;

(2)activities in achieving the goals for the preceding year;
(3)data regarding the ratio of business conducted in the state to business conducted outside the state; and (4) a strategy for the upcoming year to achieve the goals, including adoption of specific targets. Such

History: P.A. 93-404 effective July 1, 1993; P.A. 24-36 added provision re report in electronic form, replaced reference to local economic development with reference to commerce, made technical change, added new Subdiv. (3) re report setting forth data re ratio of business in the state to outside the state and redesignated existing Subdiv. (3) as Subdiv. (4), effective July 1, 2024.
