Text

Notwithstanding the provisions of section 8-206e, the Commissioner of Housing, in consultation with the Commissioner of Social Services and the Secretary of the Office of Policy and Management, may designate as a demonstration program one or more established United States Department of Housing and Urban Development Section 202 or Section 236 elderly housing development that is licensed to provide assisted living services, for the purpose of qualifying otherwise eligible residents for payment for such services as authorized under a 1915c Medicaid waiver or the state-funded portion of the Connecticut Home Care Program for the Elderly established pursuant to section 17b-342.
