§ 8-119k — Payment in lieu of taxes.

In lieu of real property taxes, special benefit assessments and sewerage system use charges otherwise payable to a municipality, an eligible developer approved by the Commissioner of Housing for state financial assistance for a congregate housing project, shall pay each year, to the municipality in which any of its congregate housing projects for the elderly or congregate housing portions of housing developments receiving financial assistance pursuant to subsection (a) or (e) of section 8-37qq, section 8-71, 8-118a, 8-119h, 8-119k, 8-119 l, or 8-119gg, subsection (e) of section 8-214f, subsection (b) of section 8-216, subsection (f) of section 8-218, or section 8-218a or 8-356, is located, a sum to be determined by the municipality with the approval of the Commissioner of Housing not in ex
