Text
All orders drawn by the selectmen on the town treasurer in payment of the expenses of any town shall be signed by a majority of the selectmen of such town, and no order not so signed shall be paid by the town treasurer. Any town treasurer who pays any order in violation of the provisions of this section shall be fined not more than one hundred dollars. See Sec. 7-12 re selectmen's duties.
