Any municipality which has authorized the acquisition or construction of all or of any part of a sewerage system and which has made an appropriation therefor may borrow temporarily upon the credit of the municipality such sum or sums as may be necessary for such acquisition or construction and may issue temporary notes for any such loan, including temporary notes issued in anticipation of the sale of bonds to be secured by the full faith and credit of the municipality, by the pledge of revenues to be derived from sewerage system use charges or by both the full faith and credit of the municipality and the pledge of revenues to be derived from sewerage system use charges.
