The governing bodies of two or more municipal electric utilities which have created a municipal electric energy cooperative pursuant to section 7-233c may, by concurrent resolutions duly adopted by each of such governing bodies within any single calendar year, dissolve such municipal electric energy cooperative on the conditions set forth in this section. Such municipal electric energy cooperative may be dissolved on condition that either the representatives of the municipal electric energy cooperative by resolution duly adopted consent to such dissolution and the municipal electric energy cooperative has no debts or obligations outstanding or that sufficient moneys have been set aside irrevocably in trust to satisfy all of the outstanding debts or obligations of such municipal electric en

History: P.A. 11-98 deleted provision requiring that upon dissolution of a cooperative, governing bodies dissolving such cooperative are deemed never to have joined in creation of such cooperative and added provision allowing property of dissolved cooperative to be vested in the creating utilities as provided in agreements between the cooperative and the members.
