Text
As used in this section and sections 7-171 to 7-186, inclusive, unless otherwise provided:
(1)“Applicant” means the sponsoring organization solely responsible for all charities participating in the bazaar or raffle;
(2)“Bazaar” means a place maintained by a sponsoring organization for the disposal of merchandise awards by means of chance;
(3)“Cash” means coins and paper money that is legal tender of any nation;
(4)“Coupon” means a ticket, form or document which the holder may redeem in exchange for gift cards, gift certificates, merchandise, tangible personal property, services or transportation on a common carrier, or a discount in the purchase price of gift cards, gift certificates, merchandise, tangible personal property, services or transportation on a common carrier; and (5) “Raff
