§ 4e-46 — Regulations for contract modifications, change orders and price adjustments for construction contracts in excess of fifty thousand dollars.
Not later than June 1, 2010, the State Contracting Standards Board shall adopt regulations, in accordance with the provisions of chapter 54, concerning the procedure and circumstances under which a state agency may allow contract modification, change order, or contract price adjustment under a construction contract with the state in excess of fifty thousand dollars. Such regulations shall require that every contract modification, change order or contract price adjustment under a construction contract with the state in excess of fifty thousand dollars shall be subject to prior written certification by the fiscal officer of the state contracting agency or other agency responsible for funding the project or the contract, or other official responsible for monitoring and reporting upon the stat
