Text

The Secretary of the Office of Policy and Management shall develop a form for capital development impact statements on which state agencies shall indicate the manner in which a planned or requested capital project or program addresses the following goals:

(1)Revitalization of the economic base of urban areas by rebuilding older commercial and industrial areas, and encouraging new industries to locate in the central cities in order to protect existing jobs and create new job opportunities needed to provide meaningful economic opportunity for inner city residents;
(2)revitalization of urban neighborhoods to reduce the isolation of various income, age and minority groups through the promotion of fair and balanced housing opportunities for low and moderate income residents;
