Text

(a)The Governor is designated, as administrative agent of the state, to apply for any funds or other aid for new construction, reconstruction and equipment for state institutions, for The University of Connecticut and for any other purpose which the Congress of the United States has authorized or may authorize the federal government to grant to the several states. The Governor, or any other officer of the state designated in any Act passed by the Congress of the United States, is authorized, in the name of the state, to make all applications and sign all documents necessary to obtain such aid from the United States or any agency thereof. The Treasurer is directed to receive all funds granted by the United States, or by any agency thereof, and to hold the same separate from all other funds
