Before transacting business in this state, a foreign statutory trust shall register with the Secretary of the State. In order to register, a foreign statutory trust shall submit to the Secretary of the State a signed copy of an application for registration as a foreign statutory trust executed by a person with authority to do so under the laws of the state or other jurisdiction of its formation.
