A registered limited liability partnership may renounce its status as a registered limited liability partnership by filing a renunciation of status report in the office of the Secretary of the State which sets forth:

(1)The name of the registered limited liability partnership;
(2)that it renounces its status as a registered limited liability partnership;
(3)the effective date, which shall be a date certain, of the renunciation of status if such is not to be effective upon the filing; and (4) any other information the partnership may determine to include. Renunciation of the status of a registered limited liability partnership shall not affect the status of said partnership or the liabilities of the partners thereof with regard to events, acts or omissions occurring prior to the date of
