§ 27-82 — Commissioner of Veterans Affairs to administer separation allowances.
The Commissioner of Veterans Affairs is authorized to administer the separation allowances provided for by this chapter and enforce the provisions relating thereto. The commissioner shall determine the amount of such separation allowances to be paid and shall certify to the Comptroller the amounts to be paid monthly. The Comptroller shall draw his orders on the Treasurer in payment thereof. The commissioner may apply the provisions of sections 27-80 to 27-85, inclusive, to any person who enters the military or naval service of the United States through the provisions of any system of selective draft adopted by the federal government.
