Text
Any hospital, upon request of the Commissioner of Veterans Affairs, shall furnish any veteran, determined by the commissioner to be entitled to admission thereto, necessary food, clothing, care and treatment therein at the expense of the state, unless other funds or means of payment are available, and such veteran shall have preference for admission into such hospital. As used in this section, “veteran” has the same meaning as provided in section 27-103.
