The commissioner shall cause such notices to be posted along or near the boundary lines of fish and wildlife refuges, closed areas, management areas, fish hatcheries, fish rearing pools and fish retaining ponds forbidding entrance therein as will, in his judgment, fairly warn any unauthorized person not to enter upon such premises; but the removal or destruction of such notices after posting shall not be a defense in any prosecution under this chapter. See Sec. 26-21 re penalty for destruction of notice or proclamation.
