Text
Notwithstanding any provision of chapter 445, no person or government agency shall permanently place, deposit, dispose of or store more than one thousand cubic yards of soil consisting of asbestos-containing material (1) from another site to a site that abuts or adjoins residential property, and (2) at a height of more than four feet above the existing grade of the land without the approval of a two-thirds majority of the legislative body of the municipality in which such property is located. For the purposes of this section, “asbestos-containing material” has the same meaning as provided in section 19a-332.
