Text
The commissioner shall make grants for providing financial assistance to municipal and regional authorities for the preparation of solid waste management plans. The grant to each municipal authority shall equal ten per cent of the nonfederal portion of the cost of preparing the plans. An additional ten per cent shall be paid for each additional municipality included in the plan, but not more than seventy per cent of the total cost of the nonfederal portion being granted by the commissioner to a regional authority.
