§ 19a-6c — Assisted living services in state-funded congregate housing facilities. Regulations.

(a)The Commissioner of Public Health shall allow state-funded congregate housing facilities to provide assisted living services through licensed assisted living services agencies, as defined in section 19a-490.
(b)In order to facilitate the development of assisted living services in state-funded congregate housing facilities, the Commissioner of Public Health may waive any provision of the regulations for assisted living services agencies, as defined in section 19a-490 , which provide services in state-funded congregate housing facilities. No waiver of such regulations shall be made if the commissioner determines that the waiver would:
(1)Endanger the life, safety or health of any resident receiving assisted living services in a state-funded congregate housing facility;
