(a)Notwithstanding any provision of the regulations of Connecticut state agencies, all home health care agency, hospice home health care agency or home health aide agency services shall be performed upon the order of a physician or physician assistant licensed pursuant to chapter 370 or an advanced practice registered nurse licensed pursuant to chapter 378.
(b)All home health care agency, hospice home health care agency and home health aide agency services that are required by law to be performed upon the order of a licensed physician, physician assistant or advanced practice registered nurse may be performed upon the order of a physician, a physician assistant or an advanced practice registered nurse licensed in a state that borders Connecticut.
