Text

(a)There is established a Commission on Medicolegal Investigations, as an independent administrative commission, consisting of the Commissioner of Public Health, or the commissioner's designee, and eight members appointed by the Governor as follows: Two full professors of pathology, two full professors of law, a member of the Connecticut Medical Society, a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, and two members of the public. The Governor shall appoint the member of the Connecticut Medical Society from a panel of not less than three members of that society recommended by the council of that society; and the member of the Connecticut Bar Association from a panel of not less than three members of that association recommended by that association. (a) by substantially revising Governor's appointments to commission, including deleting provisions re appointments from panels, initial terms of members and vacancy appointments and made technical and conforming changes.
